Yestoday

The same old weary sun shines it’s redundant glory on yet another repetitious day
I awake to all of the same old faces and the monotonous sound of the birds familiar song
I’m left with another chance to live yesterday again vicariously through these days of old.
But to do things differently would hardly change a thing, for every acts been written and each mistake’s been cast in stone,  so I settle in the night that blends today with the idea of tomorrow which never really seems to come.
