Unfortunately I had a dream as a child that I went to hell. When I woke up I was thankful to still be here. Hence in remembrance this poem was born

I wayward fell in a freakish hell,
to a place of discarded doom
I wriggled and squirmed, then confirmed,
no one was coming to my rescue
There was fire and brim, burning bones,
and the smell of melting flesh
I heard their screams, now futile deemed,
there was no place for their souls to rest
Deafen my ears from their wails and tears,
for I  could not bare their gnashing of teeth
They recited the word while vomiting curd,
but their voices grew faint beneath
I saw a broad door from far, far away
and like rain they were falling through
Now in their hand placed a golden fan
a reward from Satan, whom they knew
To my surprise, I opened my eyes,
to realized to hell and back I’d been
There lay the good book, I took a hard look
and cried “Thank  you Lord!  I’m still here!”

So glad you woke up my friend. Just kidding. Wow! That was some dream. The way you described it sounds like a place I certainly never want to be. I don't have to worry about that but I can think of one person I know that does. My ex, in fact I call him the devil. Pure Evil. How old were you when you dreamt that? You must have been so afraid. Well my friend your going to go to where it's beautiful and where our Heavenly Father is. God Bless, Sandi.
