A man apart
What’s a man to do when he finds himself alone?
A man who pushed away everyone he’s ever known
Emptiness begins to fill his lonesome heart
Over time his character, renews a man apart
He sits idly by, captive to his dreams
Pondering his life and what it really means
What’s a man to do when he loses all his faith?
He follows a jaded trail, guided by his wraith
Lost amongst the trees, searching for a light
Round and round he goes, hoping for a fight
Whethered his appearance, frail is his mind
Slowly now his facade, destined to unwind
What’s a man to do when he opens up his heart?
A newly opened book, awaiting a fresh start
Like flowers in a field, sustained by the sun
Growing is this man, no longer a need to run
Waiting for the beauty that surely will ensue
This man is now awakened, his heart reborn anew.
