Remembrance of a moment gone
Time captured behind glass and wood
Like the grains if sand in an hour glass
Framed now collecting dust
This small portion of a bigger world
Youthful bliss examined now
Featured on the shelf above
Lost is not the life of then
But here and now appreciated
Tangible existence of the past
Visible through the eyes of all
The best of these is yet to come
Future endeavors can’t be held still
Never before the past revisited
But the recollection of such events
Hopeful for the chance once more
To seal this time on a glossy canavas
