What is poetry,
When the poet is Curiosity
In the presence of the “cool cat”
Who has his pen;
Rendering him speechless,
But never hopeless–
Hope gives birth to love.
So, he’s hoping she can read his poem,
When he looks into her eyes.
Hands being the audio–
He’s hoping she can hear the conviction
In his tone with every touch.
She is his hope, secured in his clutch.
This is poetry.
