The Misunderstood Tree

I run your ground every day,
Yet you have always seemed invisible,
Temporarily clothed in your simple camouflage
Majority of your life.
Yet, now I am walking
And it is October,
Your vibrant garment decorates your lean frame,
A million colors in one,
Sitting where you always do
You see me as always,
But I finally see you.
