Poetic Justice

No matter how it looks or sounds,
Whatever comes, I write it down!

See as a child, now this is true,
My mother and I, we made a truce,
The things I’d want to say or groan,
I’d sit and write and turn to poems,

So poems I’d write, twas quite a thing,
By rhyming words, it made me think,
If most our words were wrote, then said,
How fun a rhyming world, we’d get!

But people laugh, I know they do,
“The boy is insane, he has no clue!
The things he wants to say, he writes,”
But then they wonder, well, is he right?

So to space them out, I keep on trekking,
And like this poem, I keep them guessing,

No matter how it looks or sounds,
Whatever comes, I write it down!
