Once there was a poet with severe writer’s block
He tried everything but the words he can’t unlock
Desperate, he tried marijuana
Sadly, it didn’t bring nirvana
Disappointed he concluded weed’s a load of crock
One day he’s sipping coffee staring at the clock
In meditative reverie then he heard a gentle knock
At the door a ravishing beauty
Amazingly lovely and pretty
Shortly he was writing again; beauty all he needed to rock
