Tenderness
A pin prick in time, no more
yet it opens into everything
no more, nothing else is needed
and we vanquish the beasts inside
both his and hers, yours and mine
an effort in time you can spare
for it is almost less than nothing
yet this little effort is everything
a turn of direction so that eyes
no longer are pointed inwards
and as they see the glorious light
everything opens into everything
Just a pin prick in time, nothing more.
