I Don't Sleep
Everyone says sleep is the best thing for you
You can temporarily forget everything
You go to a dream-like world where everything is suddenly perfect
And you don’t remember any thing that happened while you were asleep
But, sometimes you remember this place you go to
Whether you call it a dream, or someplace beyond space and time
And you have the perfect life
With the perfect people
And with those perfect people, comes you
Every night, whether I remember or not, you are there
But, I know these dreams I have will never be real
So, I stay up all night, to fight off the dreams I have of you
That will never come true...
