A Shell Of A Poem
The Collector Shell
There’s an arty mollusk
Rare shell from the sea
With a special talent
I know you’ll all agree
A shell that’s a collector
Has a special kind of glue
Picks up and decorates
Many changes it goes through
Turn it over exposing
A softer underside
Now glue and shell
Forever they abide
The real beauty of this shell
Depends on where it lives
A sponge coral really likes
The footing that it gives
We camouflaged like this shell
While floating in life’s tide
Gathering extra baggage
Behind it we wish to hide
Only pick up happiness
With glue of love endure
Carry joy all your life
Be beautifully secure
