Magic Sands Beach
I know about shifting sands
In Hawaii where I live
Called “Magic Sands Beach”
So much pleasure it will give

Often winter storms come
Wash away the white sands
Only our God knows for sure
A command from His hands

Then without a single word
He sends back the lovely sand
I’ll enjoy the beach again
In my sweet Aloha land
*
It seems to feel a lot like life
The way things always seem to shift
One minute I seem beaten down
Then a dear friend gives me a lift
*
Let’s walk on magic sands
Before it has to go
The sand in our hour glass
Is getting mighty low
