“Todo el silencio de la noche”

Dos ángeles se han encontrado,
han cruzado a fuego las miradas.
Ambos vienen de tierras extrañas,
en las que han resistido el embate
de cada duro ataque hasta el alba.
Sus pestañas apenas cubren lo indecible,
han luchado con denuedo por cada alma.
Cada ángel cura sus propias heridas
con ungüentos de nácar y lágrimas blancas.
Más no hay torsión que les permita alcanzar
a una zona u otra de las espaldas.
Deciden ayudarse. No es cosa fácil,
las heridas delicadamente rozarán y untarán,
conteniendo los destellos de las bengalas.
Y pasarán en ello el día... llegará el atardecer,
y luego todo el silencio de la inmensa noche
se derramará sobre sus alas.
Ya sin mirar, siguen tocando y acariciando,
relámpagos brillantes, bendición de polvo de estrellas y hadas...
En sus ojos cerrados se condensa rocío, iluminando la mañana...
cuando canten las alondras... sus dos almas se sabrán profundamente enamoradas.
Two angels have met,
glances have met fire.
They both come from strange lands
in which they have resisted the onslaught
of every hard attack until dawn.
Their eyelashes barely cover the unspeakable,
they have fought mightily for every soul.
Each angel heals his own wounds
with mother-of-pearl and white tears ointments.
But there is no twist that allows each of them to reach
to his own one or another area of the backs.
They decide to help each other. It is not an easy thing,
they will delicately rub and anoint the wounds,
containing the flashes of flares.
And they will spend the day in it... the evening will come,
and then all the silence of the immense night
it will spill on their wings.
Without looking, they continue to touch and caress,
Bright lightning bolts, stardust and fairies blessing...
Dew condenses on their closed eyes, illuminating the morning...
when the larks sing... their two souls will know each other deeply in love.
