Age of Anxiety!

Walkin’ around the same old town
It gets pretty old
You pass people on the street
You don’t really wanna know

You don’t wanna look’em in the eye
Don’t wanna say hi
It might be too intimate for the next guy
So we all just walk on by

Walk on by!

It’s quite a meditation
We’re all on medication

It’s the age of anxiety! We’re so anxious!

I thought, when I wake up I will feel better
But instead, I feel like, I’m drowning under water

My phone – it knows where I go
My brother doesn’t even know where I go!

Who are we to know? In the age of anxiety

I woke up the other morning
Scared half to the death of the dream I had the night before

I can’t even sleep peacefully! Someone medicate me!

I fell off a roof, in my dream
Of a house that I could not afford

I put on the news – I’m scared

I put on my shoes – I’m scared

I learned how to say something to someone without really saying anything at all...
