Hell to Heaven
**Written about two pups my cousin found on the side of the road, one past away but we kept the other, who is doing really well, he’s 3 now.
Our family didn’t want us.
They didn’t seem to care.
They took me and my brother.
Down the road, and left us there.
We waited day and night.
As cars passed us by.
We‘ll never be loved.
I thought with tears in my eyes.
Then when all hope was gone.
Times of sadness were foregone.
As a ute pulled up beside us.
I knew straight away, that we were saved.
The girl, our savior.
Gave us the loving, that we had craved.
She took us home, cleaned us up.
My brother still didn’t look to good.
But she cared for the little pup.
Then one day he went missing.
She put me in the car.
The times of horror I started reminiscing.
But she took me to a family.
They fed me, bathed me.
I thought I would never be loved again.
But now I’m completely free..
