My Cloak

It’s true
I do believe it
I really do believe I’m different
I eviscerate this world of its atrocities so I could think I’m its sole abomination
I am an Argonaut except there is no treasure in the road I take
I go to church not looking for redemption but to improve my renown as an iconoclast.
Though I am not a narcissist I sometimes believe I am the canon to our world uncensored.
Therefore I must pretend that you are pure.
I must pretend that you all are pristine.
I must cloak myself in infamy and disapprobation.
I shall wear a shirt of disdain and condemnation.
My sweatpants purchased from a store where disapproval is its most profitable commodity.
My shoes are colorless and laced with only the finest hate one can find.
That’s not all.
There’s one more Item
I also put on glasses
Shaded? No
Clear as daylight
But this accouterment is indifferent
Its medication sees all
It sees the good and the bad
The beautiful and the ugly
It is obdurate in nature
It is the loophole to my disguise
It reminds me that my belief is far-fetched from the truth
It vilifies my truth by showing me the truth
It redirects me to your path and tries to convince me that I’m of your kind.
It says my belief is merely a foolish one,
It says my belief is merely human one.
