Let us listen to nightbirds

Sickle tools done their jobs
Farmers gathered their crops
Between fields and laithe
Foraging continued though late.
Day in, day out... they sowed...

I walked the blackened sand beach
of what gave me comfort and sorrow
Yesterday, the tide was high,
and now it has subsided...
Seaweeds and seashells

Lost in my deep,
sweet reverie,
beautiful voice
singing a song...
accompanied

I saturated my being with all thei
I swam across the thoughts they sh
Finding the meaning of it all...
