I Command
It’s a stand still and a hard place
to be sitting with your worst mistakes
pulling and tearing
making their way for fear
attaching to all the hopeful
taking only love
battle born and thick skin
they seem to always find in
and when they do then I begin
to make the move to stand and fight
breaking attachments through the night
making space to move and space to lay
finding me time in the middle of the day
my own smile is my best choice
maybe let the world hear my voice
be felt, and known
teach people to see the body as the home
and laying seeds for peaceful souls
leaving the earth to be whole
all united in kindred goals
to quell destructive forces on the land
to stand
command change in my self
be here. now. be felt
no such thing as a friend because were all reflections
so surround your self with mirrors and inspect them
see the flaws and feats of each and every person
use this example and learn their lesson
we can learn so much from each other about our selves
in the end all our hearts need to be held
space for you to breath will ease the pain better than any pill
