By J Ann Crowder

Blue forest cradled by mystic earth, imbuing my dreams, breaching my visions whilst decorating them with tapestries of colorful oils

Enchanted blue forest, rising from ashen volcanic silt, slipping through a horrizon of moist fog

In my dreams she awakes, wed to a ring of turquoise shimmers

She is shadowed by kingly mountains

She is dotted by a lustrous tinge of still waters

She is forged by streaming beds of time

Such is a forest blue, a queen beneath an endless sky of blinking diamonds

Enthroned by sparkles upon waterfalls, she carries all my wishes

Each finding their home on a bed of sacred stone beneath singing torrents of ripples ever expanding

Deep blue forest of night, kissed by moonbeam, forever dances in my visions

Upon dawn she hides within the woven threads of my dream catcher as she awaits a new birth of magic dusk

One place I long to be, Aomori, Japan. Just be lost in its "blue forest" and sponge in all the glorious magical beauty. That ever happens, your poem in my heart to carry. Loved.

I'm glad you knew what I was writing about. My dad used to live in Japan when my grandfather was in the Air Force. I'v always wanted to travel and Japan would be on my list. I wrote another poem about the cherry blossom gardens in Japan. My sister in law is also from Japan.

It sounds like a beautiful painting. I can see The Blue Forest standing so proud. She is a beauty lady.
