To Em's Ghost.
Emma’s Ghost
in a dream I saw when I was 6 years old.
She had long light brown hair and, to me
she looked tall and, thin.
She wore 18oo’s period clothing, she was
crying, because I saw tears in her eyes and,
running down her face.
Emma’s ghost and, what happened to her
was in my memory and, so in this life I want
to do something that she never got to do
because she was murdered at a young age
I want to write poetry and, short stories.
Talk and, hug my own mom who’s still alive
on planet earth. Drink Starbucks Iced coffee’s
and, eat my favorite candy.
Listen to Keith Urban on my ear buds and, smile
because this is a brand new day.
