Just another night,
half the moon is out
the air feels soft
and warm with promises.
My heart feels out
of whack,
my mind in overdrive.
Feet that want to run,
but where to go?
I have nothing here,
holding me back.
Just familiar faces.
I’m ready for new places,
and adventures.
Tonight just feels like
another night,
sitting under a half moon.
