Hear Me
I don’t know if it’s the beer or not,
but my brains stopped functioning
and my mind is wrought.
From the day, the rush of life,
stupid people.
I need a release,
a day to myself where I can
just be me.
Run wild and free, wherever
that may be.
I don’t know if it’s the beer,
or my brain gears kicking in,
but I just want someone
to listen–
not judge, or criticize,
to what I have to say–
because really I couldn’t
care any less, what one thinks
