As Promised
Understand, that it is not for us to know;
But only obediance and humility, that in which we are to show.
What would be the time, if not for the watch upon your wrist;
For thousands of years man afforded, without amentities such as this.
All that you may have, rests lightly upon the power of prayer;
It is the Father in His infinite Grace, the reason that you are there.
And so it is the Heavens to your heart that you may search, to try and figure out why;
When all you had to do was be grateful for the blessing, with a sincere and joyful cry.
