Addiction

Doesn’t everyone at some point deal with addiction For some symptoms are mild while others are like Pulp Fiction It is a disease I truly believe one that can make an honest man thieve It can turn happiness into sorrow even take away any chance for tomorrow Truth tellers lie and mighty now meek The grounded are lost and the strong grow weak Tricky it is to find its trigger to learn to step back if the addiction is bigger When you trigger an addiction that is bigger than you kindly bow out is what you should do Because to beat it is something that cannot be done never look at addiction and think that you’ve won For It’s always in all of us for all of our life Best to learn to control it so to not live in strife To tempt fate with addiction on any level is like grabbing on to the horns of a devil When scattered are thoughts and choices are poor time to give a tip of the hat and head for the door To have an addiction know it always will taunt but to invite it in know your life it will haunt
