Here I stand waiting for a sign,
As time slowly drifts away,
Begging for another try,
as the clouds begin their rain.
Hell has come for me,
and there’s nothing I can do,
as I collapse to me knees,
I try to call for you.
It was only yesterday,
you took me by the hand,
dancing in the summer breeze,
along the shoreline of the sea.
