Cavities Sweat Flying

Did you know you can get cavities
in your brain?
It's tired in here and
the sweat dripping
from all these brain cells
is calcifying, precipitating anxiety,
because I know the cavities
keep getting bigger
and bigger,
swallowing entire ideas and
emotions from the past,
leaving nothing to represent him
in the present.

The cavities exist in space
between neuronal networks,
occupying space in the tissue
like a black hole silently
glides through the universe,
you can't see it coming,
you don't even know it's there
or what has been consumed by the cavity,
only the bystanders, stand in horror
for what has disappeared,
standing useless as a universe
implodes, silently, invisibly,
right before their eyes.

Tears turn to sweat because
the eyes are working
too hard,
they stopped crying because
the emotions were swept up
into the cavity and
only the habit remains.
The eyes keep working and
sweating, hiding the storm
consuming everything, until
they too get sucked in.
Everything that was seen
has become too much
to ever see again.

All along it was
the sweat driving the cavity, it was
the work building the cavity, it was
the memories seeding the cavity, and
then it just stopped. And
the cavity stopped,
it stopped growing,
it stopped consuming,
suffering spared.
The universe liberated
from the occupation of life.
Darkness flies unimpeded
by light, time, cavity, pain, memory.
It is still, inside the cavity,
quiet, past, peace.
