Inspired by the independence within...
You are looking down at a river
That runs off into a horizon
Thinking of what we feel seems to be ahead
With someone.
But there is something you must realize.
We each have our own lane to flow
Our own ecosystem to create
Do not try and jump into another’s
No matter how enticing the water looks
In this river, it will always be translucent
Two streams may intersect.
So until then,
Submerge yourself
And do the swimming
Alone
No waiting for the water to cool.
Trust in the current
And it will take you along the riverbank
It will flow over the water fall,
Into the river
