I miss my best friend. . .
The one who always had a shoulder to lend.
For me, She’d always defend.
She was never the type of friend we call “pretend”. .
I miss my best friend, She was my ride or die,
Always by my side. .
Good choice, Bad choice; Left or right,
She always had me and she was always down to fight.
Without even knowing my situation she covered my lies. .
No matter what was to happen she always had my back.
We were inseparable, that there is a fact.
I would give anything just to have my best friend back. . .
She use to be the one i’d call on when everything was wrong,
she always would tell me, “Its okay girl, be strong”.
Whenever I was in need of someone, she was always just a short phone call away. .
She would always come right over,
It never use to take days.
I miss my old friend,
i can not stand her new ways. . .
I miss my best friend. . .
I don’t think we will ever be the same.
In a short flinch of an eye, I lost my best friend;
I lost my ride or die. .
She is now only a stranger, who hardly even says hi.
I have to admit my old friend, you have completely changed,
and you already know who I believe is to blame; But i will not say any names.
Seeing this new you, brings my heart so much pain.

I honestly never thought I would see her lost in that mess. . .
