Weeping Willow

1/15/18

A willow tree stood tall in the center of a forest
Its brethren surrounding it
It lifted the bushes when they were low.
Gave strength to the trees
From its roots poured out nourishment (wisdom)
From its core, life to all who needed
Only once did this mighty tree almost fall
Then the environment change, and it flourished once more
Now the willow weeps again
From its bark, sap pours crystallized tears
When the wind blows it lets out a deep and mighty groan
It stand high above its kind
And no one knows how weak the roots are becoming
Or how dry it is becoming within
~ Save the provider before it is no more. Foolish trees save what is yours before it is forever lost. ~

I was inspired at 11 at night so I decided to write this while I couldn't see.
