Caves and Canyons of Love

Your thoughts on my mind are running deep and wild,
Just like the river flowing deep through gorges of the wild,
Your thoughts are cutting deeper and deeper into the shields of my mind,
Just like the river carving through the mountains and sediments of the sand,
Your thoughts are carving memories deeper into my mind,
With the chisel of moments past,
Just like the inscriptions inscribed in stone that were meant forever to last!

The waters may have long back gone,
The river may have long back flown,
But the river has done its damage,
Wounding and tearing the ground with its rage,
Chiseled and carved the caves and canyons,
Into a labyrinth of confused maze,
Splendor of nature’s architecture has come of age,
In the shape of a diamond, from which I cannot take-off my gaze!

The moments have long back gone,
Along with time they have long back flown,
But the thoughts have done their damage,
Wounding and tearing my heart with their rage,
Chiseled and carved your memories as caves and canyons,
Like the labyrinth of a confused maze,
The splendor of love has come of age,
The beauty of your love from which I cannot take-off my gaze!!
