The Traumatized Young Female

This poem speaks of a girl who have been sexually abused, but just don't know what to do next!

There once was a girl, her name was Kendra J.
No one cared about her problems, that she faced today.
One day she was laying, laying inside her bed.
When she awoke, a man was above her head.
The thing that happened that night, scared her that day.
When she thought about it, she just looked the other way.
He put his hands on her, he moved it up and down.
Kendra just sat there, looking all around.
She just cried and cried, laying inside her bed.
Thoughts were running through, her great– minded head.
She tried to tell someone, about this big attack.
Mom just looked at me, and she turned her back.
Now in life she just looks, not forward, but back.
She is just a problem, that got handled slack.
She tried to handle this problem, in a good way.
But my plan backfired, and turned the other way.
She tried to tell him how she felt, she was just too young,
But he looked her and said, “You don’t belong”!
She didn’t know what happened, at the begin.
But everything is coming together at the end.
