What Is A Sister For??
I met my sister in church, this one day.
It just started out by me saying hey.
It was nothing but a friendly little talk,
But it seemed to also be the beginning of my Christian walk.
I say he placed her in my life for a reason.
Because she is here in and out of season.
The battles we are fighting, she says we will win.
And we will get through it together, through thick and thin.
She makes me laugh when we are on the phone.
She reminds me that God is there, I am not alone.
When people treat me wrong and all uptight.
She is ready to defend her sis, ready to fight.
She honestly and truly seems like she cares.
She reminds me that God will put no more on me than I can bear.
She is honest and truthful, this I can truly see.
She never holds anything back from me.
