Black & Blue

This is for you....

I can not even imagine what it felt like when you touched her.
At first glance the family was happy
The mother full of love for her children and husband
The father proud of who he was
And the children young and vulnerable.

I can not even imagine what it felt like when you touched her
Every nerve, instinct knew it was wrong.
Your fingers must have felt like knifes scratching her back
Each touch creating another bad memory.
Each touch creating something she could not take back.

And she couldn’t fight you
She couldn’t even shake you.
This became a routine in her day
A normal pain
But she could not spread her legs far enough to take away the pain that you felt obligated to put on her.
The pain that beat her far worse than you ever did.
She could not scream loud enough, hoping that finally someone would hear her.

Because No one knew. No one even suspected anything.
“He’s a good guy, a nice fella.”
Her step father, my dads best friend.

Everyone is supposed to feel safe in there own home.
You took that from her.
You took everything from her.
Her freedom
Her future
And her mother.

Maybe she did know, but she never bat an eye.
The only tear that ran down her check is when that damn basturd had to say goodbye

Goodbye to his best friend, my father, who at the sound of his name still cringes.
Goodbye to his wife, who says she will visit soon with the kids.
Goodbye to his daughter, who he raped for 5 long years.
And goodbye to the free man he was because I hope he rots in that jail cell.

The mother will visit I’m sure because she believed this was a sin that could be cured
It was all the temptation sent by the devil
Salvation will save him, her daughter asked to be put on that level.

How does a 8 year old girl ask to be beaten and bruised?
Does she limp over to him because she still can not walk from the night before.
Or does she just have to crawl and knock on his door.

You deserve far more than what you got for the hell you put her through.
I wish you a life time of pain, and I hope in jail you are always black and blue.
