Her Screams

Day in and day out
She sits in her room filled with doubt
Nobody ever hears her screams for help
Just like a stray dog, all she could do was whelp
She prays that one day someone will save her
But everything in life was just a blur
The boy she loved she was afraid to get close to
She didn’t want him to know what she’d been through
People think she’s creepy and weird
But in her heart something always appeared
Your name, your name always came to mind
You where the boy she was trying to find
She’s too scared to tell you or ask you to be her’s
Every word she tries to say to you she slurs
She dreams of you every single night
You’re holding her hand while you kiss her in the light
But it all fades to darkness before long
She’s back to reality, she’ll never be strong
Those long sleeved tops you think she wears because she’s cold
They hide the evidence that she will never unfold
Her darkest secrets will remain deep in her scarred heart
She’ll vanish one day into the coldness, she’s fallen apart.
This is the end for her, you should probable say your goodbye’s.
