One More Day
If I could have just one more day,
Id wish for another yesterday.
To talk, and laugh and fill you in,
On everything that’s been happening.
If I could have just one more time,
Together with you all, in our prime.
Remembering all the good times past,
Not having to think when would be our last.
If i could have just one more chance,
To see you on earth, just one more glance.
To savor every word you say,
If only we had, one more day.
I know, you’re all, at rest now,
As at your graveside, we sit and bow.
But thankful of those times we had,
For all those memories, we are so glad.
Well always love you, so so much,
Even though you are out of touch.
Sleep tightly now, at peace and rest,
God only ever takes the best.
