peace and quiet

I love the peace and quiet here in my special place
sitting in the sunshine the warmth upon my face
the sound of birds singing soaring way up high
the soft far off mumbles of people passing by
 
I sit in quiet reflection no cares and no worries
slow and easy life no stress or need to hurry
small buds upon the trees spring is on the way
beautiful flowers appearing brightening up the day
 
Warm pale blue, lighting up the sky
white fluffy clouds gently floating by
my little private haven no-one can disturb
expressing my emotions without saying any words
 
Soft gentle breeze smells of blossom in the air
lush green leaves on trees that once were bare
butterflies floating dancing on the flowers
I love the peace and quiet whiling away the hours.
