Caricamento in corso...

The Mary Celeste

Watchman sang out, 3 bells and all’s well.
On open seas, calm, in the dead of night.
Tis when we encountered the ghost ship from hell.
Fog shrouded horror, bathed in blood light.

.

No sails unfurled, still the ship came near.
A shout, “Devil’s afoot” from the crow’s nest.
Of sailor’s folklore, the crew were in fear.
Only I ventured to board the Celeste.

.

On faint windy gust we heard lash and whip.
The Devil’s the captain, is what they say.
A cry beckoning us, to crew that hell ship.
But for some unknown reason, the Celeste steered away.
