Lex

Please stop, please stop,
I need to save you,
I need you to breathe this air from my body,
I need you to hold on.

Waves of pain run through my belly,
The length of despair lengthened by time,
Pain nothing like the pain in my head,
Pain nothing compared to the pain in my chest.

And now how it feels to be empty,
And unconditional love, dead.

It's hard to read this back, it was written at such a hard time of loss but something that a lot of women have felt and will feel.
