I exploit sound
welcome the clatter
that clutters the the silence
quiets the uproar of regret
against the thunder of nostalgia
disturbs internal whispers of doubt
that pound away at me
drowns the hue and cry of seclusion
masks the fear of being alone
buffers me from isolation
