I’m always there for you
whatever you need I find and give,
I never ask for anything in return
and without a smile that’s all you give,
this field I plough from day to day
it breaks my soul and hurts my mind,
I’m the toothpaste to your brush
no more than a squeeze is left inside.
I live my life for you
you can have whatever you wish for,
I treat you as a respected queen
me I’m just a mat at the door,
I never question what you spend
my purchases are viewed with scorn,
I bite down and be a man
but enough is enough my egos worn.
I lived and died my death for you
with nothing of anything to show,
you now get the house and car
insurance and cash from this cow,
pretty soon I will be a bad memory
and another me will ensue,
to live a life of misery
for the derisory royalty that is you.
