Your eyes shine into mine
Taking my perception to another dimension
 
And I’m lost in your sea
It floats me further than any vacant heart should allow
 
Do you feel as I do, strange electricity
It burns the air and chars the thoughts that betray tension
 
I feel love and its exhilarating
I’ve exploded from inside out and all is right with the world, for now
 
One touch of your skin or kiss of your lips
Is all the sustenance that my aching frame demands
 
The work of art before me
Spreads a joy inside that can be seen and felt, palpable
 
Like a strange addict love has me beaten
Held down to the floor to feel its mighty powerful hands
 
And I will do anything or say anything
Just for one more vial of its elixir that keeps me drugged, insatiable
