locked in the headlights of a clockwork machine
the skydiver falls into a beckoning ravine,
alone he plummets, hurtles and spirals
knowing full well the human condition is viral,
with a pull and a lift he soars above towns
above all the stress and the money chasing clowns,
a short lived freedom that like life must end
