The Willow In The Wind

The day had finally came,
Where my heart will never be the same,
She was like a star in my eye,
The perfect girl that I could not just let by,
She was my first but i was not her last,
There will be a day when she is just a part of my past
But for now I will cry,
Like a willow that is sad and dry,
As it loses its leaves one by one
and the wind grows stronger until it is done,
At that moment the wind roars like a lion,
It is so strong not a single leaf is left,
That the willow now had been in a crime of theft,
At this point not even a bird would perch on its stems,
Because they had noticed that it did not have its leaves that
Looked like beautiful gems,
The willow was left like this for only a couple of days,
Till a lumberjack came and the willow had no words to say,
When the lumberjack had started to tap on the wood,
With his axe that went higher than where he stood,
Now that was all left was a little stump,
The rest of the willow tree was put into the fire as a lump,
If you have pieced the poem out yourself,
Then you will understand that I am the willow itself,
The wind was the one I once loved,
The lumberjack was the one she cheated on me with,
And now I am lonely with a tragic true myth,
