I pledge allegiance to nothing.
This rag couldn’t keep me warm,
I’ll rip it in strips
Make thick knuckle grips,
Be the truest truant in the storm.
I’d need a bulletproof hand to cover this heart
While standing under this wave of scum,
In grave command from the very start
With counterfeit thunder dividing the dumb.
Through a game of disease
And telephone;
A Christian cult tradition.
Born of hate and yellow bone
In suicide transition.
Absolute power corrupts the stuffing
Mounted like president’s heads on the wall,
So I pledge allegiance to that of nothing
And I stand at attention, outside the law.
