Having come from an extremely abusive home, there were 4 of us and I was the odest one from  my mother though I have 1 half sister that's older, I was adopted at 3 years old, and raised as an only child. My childhood was rough, I mostly lived an isolated life in my room. My parents tried, they did the best they could, at least I was loved and that's what really matters, but kids are cruel, I had hardly any friends in school, my parents were strict and old school in their parenting. They really believed in "spare the rod, spoil the child." And I led a very sheltered life. So after. Many fights, all of the huffing, many. Suicide attempts,, and lots of homemade alcohol, as an escape I got married right after h.s. I was a 93 graduate, and jumped directly out of the frying pan and into the fire as my ex husband ws highly abusive. Not to mention that I,m actually a lesbian and wasn't yet ready to admitt it. Well here I m 2 relationships, and a fractured neck  later,  
, and I am finally truely happy. I'm buddhist, I,ve found the love of my life! She's an awesome musician, I,m finally building a relationship with my sisters, My girlfriend and i are enguaged to marry though we haven't yet set the date.
 Through out my life poetry, art, philosophy, and percussion ahave been my refuge, I began writing in the 3rd grade...and haven"t stopped since. The poems I'm about to share are part of my soul and I hope you enjoy them.
