I don’t wear shoes
I don’t wear shoes inside my house
though, sometimes I wear socks
if they don’t match, that’s okay
praise the unorthodox:

left on read
by right’s blue eschew
no need to talk
to walk together
if I say they do
no outsider judge
to assume and begrudge
and so I cannot lose
for, it’s only me in my house
sometimes socks
but never shoes.
