I was born in a small town on the Mississippi River., Oquawka, Illinois.  Population 900.  
I begain writing poetry in my Senior year of High School.  I mainly write personal poems for and about people and places I know and love.  I also have many poems that are based on my faith, and some that are quite humorous.   I have 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and 2 great granddaughters.
I now live in Ca  next door to my youngest daughter, her husband, and 2 of my granddaughters.  It is a blessing to be able to live close to some of my family.
