Our Every Day Life Choices Unto Eternity
When you stand all alone at heaven’s gate
Will you still be full of twisted bitter hate?
Will your prejudice be accompanying you?
Or will you have a more enlightened view?
Will your bigotries be left behind to fester?
Or will you be glum of heart or be a jester?
And what about your petty mean jealousy
Will it still be holding you a slave mentally?
Will you be letting resentment master you?
Will self centred selfish ways be your cue?
And what about your arrogant mean trait?
Do you think you can abandon blind hate?
Will you still be stupid rude and arrogant?
Or might you change to reason like a gent?
May compassion invade your eternal soul?
And may you be kind unto all on life’s stroll?
It isn’t too late to end being mean and cruel
Dishonest ways they should never ever rule
Honour and honesty fortify our eternal spirit
Our reputation should be known for its merit
Our kindness is free and is an act of nobility
We should endeavour to treat all with civility
To share with others is sharing with ourself
There is more to living than to acquire wealth
We must struggle to raise our intellect higher
Life’s too short for anger coz of failed desire
If we do not get our own way should not bully
If we live with negativities we do not live fully
Will hate and anger lead you to heaven’s gate?
Coz death is each and everyone’s eternal fate
