NOT MY FAULT

Not My Fault

Do you think I have nothing to say?
I have a lot to say,
I wish to speak out
But my mouth is shut,
For good, I will never speak.

I see you laugh happily,
I wish to join you,
I’d laugh with you,
But forever my ears are closed,
But it’s  not my fault.

The stick I carry on my hand,
My friends I can never see,
I can not tell my skin colour,
I don’t know my parent’s looks,
But it’s not what I wished.

I want to visit places,
I do not want to sit on this four– wheeled chair,
But I have to,
I stand the strange and hateful eyes,
But it was not my prayers,
in this state to be.

But you despise me,
Is this your reason?
Is this why you treat me worthlessely?
Till tears from my eyes they flow,
yet it is not my fault.
