Earth - Wind - Fire - Rain

The rising arc
Followed the world
Came back down
Brilliant flaming bird
Flashing in the sky
A rumbling which shakes me
Thin streams
Moisture added
Drenched under foot
Plants absorb and
Grow screaming thank you
To which nobody hears
Trees and their still green leaves
Rustling branches sway
Some fall and stay
Murky blue
Drab and obscured
Shapes against it
We know what they are
But do we care
The arc rises again
Patches above against
Bright blue
Some dark far off
Blown over
During the darkness
Branches sway calm
No more thunder
Wind is a cold knife
The arc recedes
And it all falls again
